Screen-used helmet from the Mandalorian Season 2
Boba Fett: Post-Sarlacc
This Cobb Vanth resin kit was purchased from MinuteFett. Based on the Book of Boba Fett, this helmet depicts the bounty hunter escaping the maw of the Sarlacc, to which the helmet is shown to be heavily chipped, revealing the metal underneath.
Using a combination of bondo & acetone, I stippled it on to create this texturing effect. The chipping was achieved with liquid latex which was over the silver coat. Once layered over with the greens, red and grey, the liquid latex was removed to reveal the metallic chipping.
The mandible chipping was achieved with a silver sharpie and topographically outlined with vallejo grey acrylic paint. All the other paints used were from Tamiya.
