Hi there! My name is Matthew Winchell and welcome to my portfolio site.
I am a practical effects artist from Lafayette, California. My specialty is animatronics but I am also learning motion control. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, playing guitar, and shooting film photography.
I recently interned at Legacy Effects in the mechanical department and worked on a few commercials, a feature film, and a television show.
My primary goal is to work in the film/tv industry as a mechanical engineer for animatronics and other kinds of practical effects.
